Windsor Terrace Townhouse
Path Place completed a thoughtful renovation of this historic limestone residence, redesigning the kitchen and three bathrooms of the upper duplex, and a separate rental unit on the garden level. The objective was to seamlessly integrate a contemporary design narrative while honoring the home's rich original details and collection of antiques and family heirlooms. To enhance the flow and natural light, we aligned the door openings from the parlor entry through to the kitchen, creating a sense of connection and allowing light to spill through the Interior. The once-cramped and dated kitchen was reorganized as a spacious, functional hub for family cooking and dining, with custom cabinetry, designed to display the client's cherished antique silver collection. The updated basement unit has given the clients flexibility to use it as a family living space, or as a rental unit, increasing the functionality of this home for years to come. Throughout the home, a careful balance of old and new was achieved, ensuring the house remains both timeless and fresh for the next generation.
