Beacon Hill Carriage House
PPA’s principal architect Kelley Surun collaborated with Payne/Bouchier of Boston and Maribeth Brostowski of Virian Studios to design a full interior reconstruction of this historic carriage house in the flats of Beacon Hill. This residence was meticulously considered, using traditional vernacular to construct a home that supports contemporary urban life. Every detail was hand-crafted including coffered ceilings and wood paneling, a tiger maple-clad study and a grand elliptical stair with hand-turned balusters.
